On Friday, 21 March 2025, the 8th-grade students of SMP Budi Utama presented the results of their study tour to their parents. This opportunity allowed them to demonstrate that their journey was not just a trip, but a valuable experience that expanded their horizons.

The students were divided into groups, with each group presenting what they had learned from Singapore. They also shared what could potentially be implemented in Indonesia, such as the management of transportation, waste, and education in Singapore, and how these practices could be applied in Indonesia.

The students didn’t just make assumptions; they engaged in critical thinking, analyzing data and identifying issues from their everyday lives. They were able to link their observations to broader contexts.

The hope is that this study tour experience, combined with the opportunity to present their findings, will broaden their perspectives. They are encouraged to recognize that the world is full of opportunities, and with an open mind and a continuous desire to learn, they can seize the many chances that lie ahead
