SLEMAN, May 27, 2026 — Budi Utama School officially launched Chinese Culture Week #3, a week-long cultural immersion program for Grade 7 and Grade 10 students. Held in collaboration with the Confucius Institute at Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) and supported by native Chinese teachers, the program offers students authentic cultural experiences that complement language learning, reflecting Budi Utama's commitment as a trilingual national school.

The opening ceremony featured a vibrant lion dance performance, symbolizing good fortune and prosperity, followed by an energetic Chinese drum performance that marked the official start of the program. The event was officially opened with welcoming remarks from the General Secretary of the Budi Utama Education Foundation, who emphasized that learning a language goes hand in hand with understanding its culture. Through Chinese Culture Week #3, students are encouraged to broaden their global perspectives while developing greater appreciation for cultural diversity.
