After completing a semester-long internship at TK, SD, SMP, & SMA Budi Utama, interns from HAN University were formally returned to Sanata Dharma University on Tuesday, June 11, 2024. A total of five students were returned: Nienke (teaching social studies in SMP), Thomas & Joes (teaching Geography in SMA), Iris (teaching Biology in SMA), and Blodwen (teaching in TK & SD).

The symbolic handover was conducted by Mr. Orin, the program coordinator from Budi Utama school, to Ms. Rina Astuti Purnamaningwulan, M.Hum., the PPL program coordinator from Sanata Dharma University. In his handover speech, Mr. Orin commended the five interns for fulfilling their teaching duties excellently and actively participating in activities organized by the school.

Representing Sanata Dharma University, Ms. Caecilia Tutyandari, Ph.D., the Vice Rector IV, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Budi Utama School for hosting and mentoring the intern teachers. She also conveyed hopes for the continuation of this program, emphasizing its benefits to all parties involved: Budi Utama School, Sanata Dharma University, and HAN University.

The handover was also attended by the Head of Academic Affairs, the Head of Non-Academic Affairs, the structural heads of Budi Utama Kindergarten, Primary, Junior High, and Senior High, as well as the teachers who supervised the intern students. (Mss. Rini_English Teacher SMA Budi Utama)
